    I can’t figure this out. I create a small slider. I get the shortcode. I put it in a widget for the sidebar using “text” and it just shows the shortcode on the page in the sidebar. It works fine if I just place it on a page. What am I doing wrong?

    Hey jodyrussell!

    Builtin LayerSlider shortcode does not work in widget areas. If you would like to use it in widget areas, you are going to need to purchase it and install as a standalone plugin. If you decide to do that, please see – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/deactivate-the-layerslider-plugin/

    Alternatively, you can create easy slider and add it to your widget areas.

    You can enable debugging mode to see shortcodes you have created in pages using Advanced Layout Builder – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/

    Or, You can switch to Default Editor and click on Magic Wand to see full list of shortcodes http://i.imgur.com/n4KXkdm.jpg
    then you can create any of them and copy/paste shortcode into any other content element or into text widget.
