If I make two posts with the same content: one with Visual Editor enabled, one while only using the Text editor, the posts will not look the same.
When I use the Visual Editor other divisions and classes are used.
When using the Visual Editor:
– The posts are wider on the page
– I am unable to react to a postIs there a solution for this?
My website is http://www.lachai-roi.nl and I am using the latest version of WordPress and Enfold.
November 3, 2015 at 12:55 pm #529166Hey BartHoogmoed,
Could you post examples of the two results please? Also, we might need admin access to the backend. Please post the details in the Private Content area of your reply.

Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab
#top .fullsize .template-blog .post .entry-content-wrapper > *, #top .fullsize .template-blog .post .entry-content-wrapper { max-width: 100%; }Please make sure that > sign is not converted to – http://i.imgur.com/IDXRZQ3.png in Quick CSS field.

YigitNovember 4, 2015 at 5:40 pm #530280Hi,
sorry, but i have the same problem: When using the “normal” Text Editor for a post – all works fine.
But if i switch to the AVIA Editor (for Columns, Tables, etc.) the Post will not longer “behave” as a post.
Result: No featured Image on the left, No Comment function and so on.The CSS-Trick dose not work for me – sorry.

When using Advanced Layout Builder to create your posts, please add Comments and Social Share Button elements manually to the bottom of your content. Same goes for the featured image as well :)

YigitNovember 4, 2015 at 5:52 pm #530293Hi Yigit,
thanks for your fast posting. Okay – then i put the “Comments” and “Social Share” Components by “hand” in the post. Is there a media element for the featured image? Can not find it…
Thanks,
RickNovember 4, 2015 at 5:55 pm #530297Hey!
You can use Image element under Media elements tab of Advanced Layout Builder :)

YigitNovember 4, 2015 at 6:02 pm #530310I thought so … :-)
its a pain to “rebuild” your template by hand…
And think of a redesign of my page in the future.
Then i have to edit all posts if i want to disable the comment function.Best regards,
RickNovember 4, 2015 at 6:07 pm #530318Hey!
You can simply choose not to display comments in Settings > Discussion and comments will be removed from your posts

YigitNovember 4, 2015 at 6:16 pm #530325Okay – that was my bad example :-)
But what about the post meta data after the headline?
Such as: postet at, comments, in category and author tags?
Cant imagine to put that info manualy :-)Best regards,

You are welcome Rick!
We will keep the thread open for the OP. If you have any other questions or issues, please feel free to start a new thread :)Cheers!
YigitNovember 6, 2015 at 11:36 pm #531676Sorry for the late reply. Gmail thinks your spam ;-).
Anyway, I think I will have to be using the work around: building a post in the Layout builder and then switch too Text mode. It works for me, but we have some volunteers in our team with a little les technical knowledge.November 9, 2015 at 5:59 am #532342Hey!
What is it in the advance layout builder that you need that is missing the default editor? Note that you can also use same elements in the default editor by using the shortcode wand.
– The posts are wider on the page
Use the 1/1 column layout to constrain the contents.
– I am unable to react to a post
Please add the Comments element under the Content Elements panel.
Best regards,
Ismael` -
