I have purchased enfold almost one year back.
My 12 month period is expiring soon. Now what?
I have to buy full license again in order to be able to download updates? I see no option in themeforest to extend my license with a reduced price or anything else.
Also themeforest account is the only way to download new versions?
I hope your policy is not to buy the theme again!!!

First of all, if there is such policy, that is Envato’s policy as purchase and download processes are managed by them and not ours :)
Secondly, i still have the items i purchased more than a year ago in my profile’s downloads section. They recently limited support on the items but updates are not limited as far as i know. Please see here for more information – http://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy
Only place to download the theme is from ThemeForest but you can insert your API key in Enfold theme options to receive auto updates – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

Probably in 4 months i will not be able to use the support section in themeforest, which i havent used even once..correct?

You will not be able to start new threads on our forum as well but you will be able to read posted ones. We are hoping that this rule will change or Envato will allow authors to choose to provide support their own way, like it was before. We would like to keep our support policy the way it was and let Envato know about it already :)

59$ for 6 months and 76 for 12….. how can i see the 41?

The link you posted has no answer from anyone who works at envato. If someone from envato says that we dont have to limit support to the support period we wont do it :)
But until now I haven’t read anything that indicates that this is true. Every official answer from envato until now, was that we have to play by their new rules, and that everyone who does not is jeopardizing their relationship with envato.
So truth to be told, I can’t imagine that the x-theme guys will ignore the envato ruling and simply offer support after that 6 month period, since envato could (and probably would) force them to comply.
As was said in the marketplace forum thread: right now I wouldn’t worry to much about it. There is still a long time until this affects any customers and everything might change until then. You will also always be able to read the forum and get access to updates, so more often than not I think you wont need any support after 6 months…

It sucks though.
My period expires in 4 months and unfortunately i had little time in playing with your theme so i wil ldefinately need your forum help.
