Hi,
I have a question/comment:
I synced the menu from one language to another and I notice the menu in the second language is formatted completely different from the original language.
Also, when I duplicate the code from one page to the language of another page, the layout becomes completely different.
Here are the examples:
Menu:
Homepage
Homepage in EnglishLayout:
Homepage layout
Homepage layout is different (not wide) but exactly same code in vis editorLayout other example:
Original page
Same page in english is completely different but content duplicatedI emailed support on wpml and it seems to be related to the theme rather than the plugin.
Thanks for any help.

In Dashboard > Enfold you will see there is a language switcher in the top left corner of the theme settings. Each language will have it’s own settings so you can switch between them and change the styles, logo, etc etc.
If you want them to be the same then export the settings in Dashboard > Enfold > Import / Export, switch the language, and then import the settings.
Cheers!
ElliottOctober 21, 2015 at 10:03 am #522226Thanks Elliott for the super fast reply.
Believe it or not I had checked that already. Exported and imported settings from dashboard, but still the issues remain.
Menu layout is a different color with no spacers. Frontage is not fully width. Some inside pages have different layout as in the example I pointed out.
Also, the strange thing is I am checking also the page settings and they are exactly the same in both languages (so layout, sidebar, slider etc).
One thing I forgot to mention, just in case, I am using enfold child theme.
Tnx!
October 22, 2015 at 9:01 am #522772Hi. Any idea?
Is there a reason the child theme options are not taking on the front end?
If I look at the colors and settings on the enfold dashboard, they are all correct in each language, but on the front end they are not taking.
Thanks.
October 22, 2015 at 5:21 pm #523151Hi!
Are you using a caching plugin? If so then try clearing it’s cache. Otherwise send us a WordPress login and we’ll take a closer look.
Cheers!
ElliottOctober 22, 2015 at 7:51 pm #523260Yeah, no caching plugins. I tested that too clearing browser cache etc.
Thank you so much!
October 23, 2015 at 2:44 pm #523856Hey!
does this happen with your child theme only? what if you activate Enfold without a child theme? same results?
Try to deactivate all plugins, to see if one is causing this issue.
Is you host using some kind of caching on your server? please ask them.Cheers!
AndyOctober 25, 2015 at 4:17 pm #524409Ran the tests again.
Problem occurs with enfold or enfold child theme.
I tried to deactivate all plugins and use enfold theme.
Problem starts when only sitepress plugin is on. I tried to download again from wpml just in case it was corrupted, but does not fix layout problem.
Problem seems to be related between sitepress plugin (wpml) and theme files.
October 25, 2015 at 11:31 pm #524558Hi!
Could you please contact the WPML support so they can also assist and we can after help debug the issue, based on the theme problem it might occur?
Cheers!
BasilisOctober 26, 2015 at 9:43 am #524749Hi Basilis,
not sure if you read my first post that actual explains the problem but I explain that I did start this issue with wpml directly and it seems it’s a theme issue.
I will contact them again but lets not bounce the ball please :-)
October 27, 2015 at 5:52 am #525328Hey!
The english home page is using the the default editor instead of the advance layout builder, that’s why it’s not full width. Please check it now:

IsmaelOctober 28, 2015 at 3:57 pm #526204Ismael, I was so excited when I read your post because effectively no one has even mentioned the possibility!
I’m checking this out but it seems the issue has more to do with the code being duplicated when I select the page and ask it to duplicate the code to a new language page.
So I have a question: is there a way to “copy-paste” the Avid code from one page to another page? I tried by pressing Default Editor but no code is visible (even under html tab).
Any suggestions?
Thanks
October 29, 2015 at 9:40 am #526606Hi,
Not sure if this is what you are asking but please try activating debug mode, you will be able to see/copy shortcode then: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
Thanks,
Rikard -
