hello,
for my site i activated the debug mode and so far it worked fine to copy and paste entire page. this approach is much faster than the integrated way of creating templates and than loading them, furthermore it’s more flexible since i can copy paste just fragments of code and not the entire site.
however, i finished my site on my own server and then migrated to the actual server. this worked well, the site works perfectly, the only problem is now, that when i created a new page, the copy pase process creates strange errors.
but see for yourself:
http://www.tangoneando.de/videoson this site the footer-socket is totally off, no idea why. i made you an administrator login to check for details.
you could also try to create a new dummy page and copy paste the entire code of another page to see the process by yourself. somehow the page is not exactly duplicated (what should be the case), but strange layout errors appear.
best regards

It looks fine to me. Can you take a screenshot and highlight what your wanting the socket to look like?

ElliottOctober 16, 2015 at 6:20 pm #520217hello,
i made too screenshots:
1, wrong: http://www.tangoneando.de/screenshots/wrong-socket.jpg
2. correct: http://www.tangoneando.de/screenshots/correct-socket.jpgexplanation: it seems, as if the socket is behaving like a full-width socket, e.g. with a top menu. but like this it is partly hidden by the menu on the left.

Ahh I see, my resolution is bigger so it was displaying correctly on my screen. Your footer container is outside of the main container which means you probably have a tag your not closing properly in your page content. So it’s only happening on that page then. What happens when you delete / recreate the page?
Also, it looks like your using Enfold 3.2. Go ahead and update to the latest version, 3.2.2.

ElliottOctober 20, 2015 at 4:02 pm #521758hello,
i created another page and copy-pasted the content. the result is even worse:http://www.tangoneando.de/screenshots/page-duplicate.jpg
indeed it seems as if there would be a tag missing. but i checked the code several times and couldn’t find any mistakes. how is it possible, that the same code produces different results on different pages?
i also updated the theme.
best regards

After you paste the contents, try moving some elements and then re-save the Page.
Cheers!
JosueOctober 21, 2015 at 11:32 am #522244hi,
moving some elements helped a lot, the recreated page looks good now, but the socket is still full width…

Not sure what it could be. Try creating a new page and add your content in piece by piece to see which one is causing the issue. Be sure to deactivate all plugins while testing as well.
Best regards,
