    Hi there,

    Currently, each of my blogposts displays the first few lines of the post as an excerpt. However, I would like to summarize my posts and have the summaries displayed instead. So, is there an option where I can customize my own excerpts?

    Hey ccharell!

    Yes, each post has a “Custom Excerpt” field which you can use to create a custom excerpt. If you do not see this option then click on “Screen Options” in the top right hand corner of your page and check it to display.
