It seems that on mobile devices, the menu (which is accessed through the box at the top right) becomes visible if the user scrolls sideways. Is there a way to stop this from happening? (i.e. stop the user from being able to scroll sideways or a different way to completely hide the menu)
Cheers,
Erik
Hi ChalleDesign!
Your using Enfold version 3.0.8. You’ll need to update to the latest version, 3.3.2, http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/update-theme-files-with-ftp/.
Cheers!
Elliott
Will updating the theme revert it to its original settings? We have made some time consuming modifications to the site and would like to avoid re-doing them.
Hey!
Have you made any changes on theme files? If not and if you only made changes on Enfold theme options and not changed themes name, you can feel free to update the theme.
Cheers!

We have made changes to theme files (i.e. shortcodes, custom, layout, etc.)
How can we work around this?
Hi,
If you haven’t made any changes to the theme core files like for instance function.php you won’t lose any of your customisations, but please do a complete backup of the site before you update just to be safe.
Best regards,
Rikard
We have just tried fixing the issue by updating the theme. The menu still appears on mobile if the user swipes left and we lost most, if not all, of our customizations. We have since reverted back to our backup of the website.
Is there anything else we can do?
Cheers
Hi,
The bug you are referring to was fixed several months back so you most likely got cached results on your mobile device. Could you please specify all the customisations you have done? All you settings and code in the theme options should be safe on updates.
Regards,
Rikard
We have updated the theme to the latest version and have redone all the customizations. Everything seems to be working just fine now.
Cheers
