    Dear Kriesi

    Im building a test site at

    http://www.luxuryholidayvillasinitaly.com

    ive added some new pages and for some reason the footer socket varies in height – ive serched the database but cant find an answer

    can you help me resolve this please – i know its sunday so an answer tomorrow would be great and also why do some pages have a scroll to the top function but not my new pages

    one last questions

    i added some quick css code i found in the documentation to add a scroll to the top on mobiles and add the footer socket – i added the following

    Display footer menu on mobile
    Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab to display Footer menu on mobile

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px){
    .responsive #socket .sub_menu_socket {
    display: block !important;
    }}
    Display scroll to top button mobile
    Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab to display Scroll to top button on mobile

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) }
    .responsive #scroll-top-link {
    display: block !important;
    }}

    i tried the site on my iphone 5 but the scroll to top didnt work but the footer socket shows

    ive now deleted the quick css and the footer still shows on my mobile – ive refreshed the screen

    thanks in advance for your help

    Hi Kriesi

    do you need access to my wordpress login details?

    Thanks

    Hey,

    I can’t see any difference in height between the front page and /portfolio/, could you post screenshots of what you are seeing on your end please? You can use imgur.com or a public dropbox folder for instance and then link to them here.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Kriesi

    Ive just tried this

    im using the enfold child theme

    i went to child theme options and footer and i turned off the socket

    the socket disappears on all the pages BUT there is still a grey band of colour full width on the portfolio , what we do pages

    so is this grey band of colour independent of the socket and causing the problem?

    thanks again

    #514996

    Hey,

    Thanks for the screenshots, what you are seeing is the expected behaviour since there is not enough content on some of those pages to fill the whole screen. Do you want to completely remove the socket?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    HI Rikard

    Ok now i feel stupid ! lol

    But i learn quickly so thanks for your help

    If i want to completely remove the socket – do i just do thsi in Theme options/footer – dont display socket & footer widgets

    Best regards

    Austin

    Hi!

    Yes, if you would like to remove it globally. If you would like to remove from certain pages, you can simply edit those pages and choose not to display socket under Layout Section on the right side

    Cheers!
