    Hi Guys,

    I searched the support forums and couldn’t find the answer to this one

    When using the ‘Avia Layout Builder’ and the ‘Color Section’ part, Im trying to set a video as the background. Its a youtube video.

    This all works fine on desktop, however on mobile devices it just sits there with a big ‘play’ button.

    I have a few questions –

    1 – Can the video background work and autoplay on mobile devices as well as desktop?
    2 – If not, can I set a fall back image. Note: I currently do have a ‘Custom Background Image’ set, however the mobile device doesn’t give it preference.

    Hi Gekko101,

    1. Autoplay on mobile devices is disabled due to the fact that some manufacturers does not allow it. Also, there is the case of roaming rates where users can face additional cost for extra data because of the video stream.

    2. Yes you can set a fallback image, if you add the video URL to the Color Section you will see the Hide video on Mobile Devices? option under it. If you check that the image you have set should be displayed instead.

    Yes, I assumed there would be that option, but I cant find it….

    Sorry, Im an idiot. I wasn’t scrolling far enough on the color section options. Got it. :)
