    Hi guys,

    I´d like to have the archives look like my main blog page http://www.der-prinz.de/blog/ which is build with the visual editor. The archive however look a bit different (http://www.der-prinz.de/category/wordpress-tipps-tricks/).

    It seems like the settings for the blogpage are not valid for the blog archives? or do I miss something?

    Whats´the best way to use a more custom archive page? Do I need to edith the file(s) manually?

    Hey Michael!

    You can set the archive style in Dashboard > Enfold > Blog Layout, the archives will take on the same style.

    If your trying to make the archives display in a different way then you will need to edit the archive.php template and add your changes in. That would have to be considered custom work though. It would be best to hire a freelancer to help you out with that.

    The setting for the blog style is set to “use advanced layout editor…”. That works for the blogpage but NOT for the archives.

    Hey!

    Correct, for the archives you will need to edit the archives.php template if you want to do a custom layout.
