When I change the language from English to Slovene the products in the shop are no longer visible, because the link is translated into Slovene. Eg.
Correct link:
http://mydomain/product/405781-ricoh-geljet-sg3110sfnw/
Translated link (izdelek = product in slovenian language)
http://mydomain/izdelek/405781-ricoh-geljet-sg3110sfnw/
Can you please help?
Thank you
Hey lesargini!
Your using WPML correct? Did you translate the products as well? They need to be translated if they are to display in both languages.
Regards,
Elliott
Nop I am not using any plugin for translation… I only have WordPress and Woocommerce in Slovenian language – default translations from developers…
Hi!
I can’t open both links from your first post. Can you check if they are still correct please?
If you want to translate your frontend then it’s not enough to choose another language in your backend. You need to use a plugin like WPML for translations. You can also use a plugin like loco translate, to translate some specific strings only.

Andy
Well the links were only examples (mydomain), I am using maintenance mode so the page is not accessible even if the links were correct.
I did a little more searching.
If I choose English language:
http://razvoj.vibor.si/wp-admin/options-general.php
Both links work correctly:
http://razvoj.vibor.si/product/405781-ricoh-geljet-sg3110sfnw/
http://razvoj.vibor.si/izdelek/405781-ricoh-geljet-sg3110sfnw/
If I choose Slovenian language:
http://razvoj.vibor.si/product/405781-ricoh-geljet-sg3110sfnw/ – WORKS
http://razvoj.vibor.si/izdelek/405781-ricoh-geljet-sg3110sfnw/ : DOESNT WORK
I am stumped …
I solved it – it was a permalinks problem…
