Building a new web site with enfold

I have an existing web site. http://www.uis,uk.com for my company

i have started to try and build a new web site uisng enfold as i really like it. I am currently building the site under the another url http://www.luxuryholidayvillasinitaly.com and i am just experimenting with ideas at the moment and learning how to use enfold

i have been advised by a word press guru that i cant build the enfold site on my existing site as the temporary url for that is taken

Am i correct to build it at the test url above and then export and then import it to http://www.uis.uk.com when i am ready? does the importing take long and will i have to do all the work again

or is their a better way to do this ?

would appreciate your thoughts

one last question. One of my work colleagues is experimenting on another test site we have with the enfold slider – when he gets it right is it possible to export the slider from there and import it into my test site?
