I have a client with an older version of a child Enfold theme. Would I be able to gain access to the original v1.8.1 Enfold theme for testing purposes?

I do not think any of us has a copy of it but I’ll flag the rest of our team to be sure. If it’s a child theme then I would just look at it’s functions.php file and compare it to the latest version of Enfolds functions to see if you need to change anything.

Version 1.8.1 is a very very old version and i do not think any of us has it as well. You can refer to this post – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/move-from-a-local-installation-to-a-live-server/ and create a testing environment and update the theme there and check if it breaks anything. You would need to reconfigure some elements/options such as header – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/intro-to-the-header-configurator/
