    Hi!
    I have a simple post where I want to have opening hours listed on different lines. The actual post shows the line breaks but regardless if I use unordered lists, <p> or </br> I still don’t get the line breaks to show in the excerpt.

    Hey ThomasNorden!

    It should be <br /> not </br>. The excerpt will strip formatting though so what you can do is create a custom excerpt when you edit your post. Click on “Screen Options” in the top right hand corner of your screen and check the excerpt field to display and then scroll down and type out whatever you want to display in the excerpt.

    Making a custom excerpt did the trick!
