Hi – Love Enfold but have recently noticed an issue only with Google Chrome where one of the positions in our layer slider elements is being ignored by Chrome. We have a type-header which moves onto the layer from the left and is positioned (on the left) but 40px from the LH edge. Works fine in all other browsers but chrome keeps pushing it across to the righthand side. Have tried <<LH: 40px !important>> in Layer Slider but no luck.
Any suggestions – eek!
Many thanks!

I can see the problem, could you please provide us with a temporary admin login so that we can take a closer look? You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Please make sure that you are running the latest version of the theme (3.3.2)

September 11, 2015 at 4:58 am #501385Hey!
I would like to test the page but the advance layout builder is not working because the Visual Composer is activated. Note that these two builders are not compatible so you have to deactivated the visual composer. What is “LH: 40px !important”? Is that a css code?
Best regards,
IsmaelSeptember 11, 2015 at 5:22 pm #501812Hi Rikard,
Visual composer now deactivated – the “LH: 40px !important” was an attempt to force the sliding type into the correct position – not sure it worked so happy to remove it if required. Thanks again for your help.
DSeptember 12, 2015 at 5:54 am #501960Hi,
Your builder is still not working, could you try to deactivate all other plugins as well? I was unsure what slider you had used for the front page but I guess it’s the one most recently changed, correct? The left margin CSS you put in don’t seem to match what’s being shown on the front end at all.
Thanks,
RikardSeptember 13, 2015 at 3:24 pm #502324Hi Rikard,
Thanks for your continued help – plug-ins all now deactivated (including LayerSlider) but still strange behaviour in Chrome.
If you need anything else at this stage just shout. Thanks again,
DSeptember 14, 2015 at 4:38 am #502433Hi,
Adding a new slider still doesn’t work, there’s something strange going on with your installation. Could you please try to overwrite the theme files with a fresh copy from your Themeforest account via FTP to see if that helps? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

RikardSeptember 14, 2015 at 12:29 pm #502660I’m not sure if it’s related, but on Chrome I can’t drag layers around, while on Firefox it works fine.
September 14, 2015 at 12:38 pm #502670Hi Rikard,
We’ve now had a chance to update all of the plugins, wordpress and Enfold – fingers crossed this helps…
As an aside, the slider behaviours still work fine in other browsers – just Chrome…Many thanks,
DSeptember 14, 2015 at 12:42 pm #502672Thanks Caudergo
The position of an element within LayerSlider is fine in all browsers except Chrome (Version 45.0.2454.85 (64-bit)).
Puzzling indeed. Hopefully the re-install will help Rikard!Best wishes,
