Hi all:
I have an accordion slider and cannot figure out why the images are not opening in the lightbox. Clicking on the accordion images in the slider simply re-loads the page, instead of opening them in the lightbox.
- For a normal gallery the exact same images DO open in lightbox
- But the same exact same images do not open when used in the accordion slider
I have tried disabling all plugins, did not make a difference.
I have created a test page to look at, with both accordion widget as well as a plain gallery, using the same images. Please see private comments for the test page.

I see what you mean. I can not reproduce it on my own setup though. Let’s try the following.
1. Deactivate all plugins.
2. Completely delete Enfold from your WordPress theme directory before downloading + uploading a fresh copy from themeforest.
3. Activate Enfold instead of your child theme and clear your browser cache.
Best regards,

Thanks for your help…
Deleted Enfold parent, downloaded a new version from Theme Forest, disabled all plugins, re-installed Enfold via FTP, activated parent theme instead of child theme, cleared all caches, tried other computers (although you were able to reproduce it, so that was superfluos…
Tried the entire sequence again, this time re-installed Enfold via WordPress theme installer buttons.
Same result. I don’t understand what could be happening.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hmm, not sure what it could be. I activated Enfold instead of your child theme and I noticed that your site seems to “freeze up” for 2 – 3 seconds after the page is loaded.
Also, your getting a bunch of 404 errors on some images such as “small-factory-home.png, small-factory-about.png, etc etc”. I was looking through your markup but couldn’t figure out where they were coming from. Any ideas?

This is a staging version of a port from an old site. The 404s originated from the footer widgets in the parent theme. I deleted these, all 404s resolved, but the same issue persists.
These only show up on the parent theme, since each theme change carries widget settings along. Also I need to turn the Enfold Child theme back on since I had some custom CSS in there that is now not being applied.
Still mystified as to what could be happening, especially with all plugins turned off seems a javascript conflict is unlikley. I will try and delete all old plugin directories as well.
As a work around for now, is there a way to just disable triggering anything when clicking on these images?
Any other thoughts?
Many Thanks, Juergen
September 10, 2015 at 5:42 pm #501225Hey!
No other ideas. You could create a new installation for testing.
You can use this CSS to disable the links.
.aviaccordion-slide-link { pointer-events: none !important; }
Cheers!
