Is it possible to use an icon box but replace the icon with a user defined image for that specific box ?

The above solution allows me to replace the actual icon with a PNG image – however the circle for the icon still appears in the background and the image I want is much smaller than required.
Here is a dropbox link that has a prototype image from Photoshop and the other is an actual screenshot of what I’m getting.
