    Weird problem…

    http://mjcironworks.com/shop/

    WooCommerce Product Category Widget will not show in the sidebar on the shop page. It used to work perfectly.

    I put a copy of the widget in the footer right column, and it shows there fine. It also shows fine on a single product category:

    http://mjcironworks.com/product-category/bass/4-string/

    (Right hand side – “pick your string”)

    But not on the main shop page.

    Any thoughts?

    Hey!

    widget in question is showing fine for me on your sidebar and it says “No products in the cart”. Could you fix it?

    I’m not talking about the cart widget. I’m talking about the category widget – which is not displaying.

    Hey!

    you are using WP Super Cache plugin. Go into plugin’s setting and switch off caching. Afterwards deactivate this and all other plugins but WooCommerce. Clear browser cache and hard refresh a few times. Remove your widget in question and replace it again. Hope this will help!

    No good. Followed your instructions to the letter – and removed caching altogether. Category widget still not appearing on the right – only in the footer.

    Hi!

    does it work when you activate a default WordPress theme instead? please ask WooCommerce support as well, as they know their plugin best.

    Well, I found a solution… the widget areas are mislabeled.
    If I move the widget to the “single product pages” widget area… it shows on the shop page. Which makes no sense, ’cause it didn’t work that way before. But it works!
