Kriesi posted this article on how to add orderby functionality to blog posts, masonry, post grid, post slider.
Unfortunetly, there’s a bug with the Magazine : it works for all the elements but if you click on the category tabs, it’s the default sort.
Is there a patch for this ?

did you try to deactivate all plugins, to see if ne is causing this issue? Clear browser cache and hard refresh a few times.
