Hi,
is there any way to get the social icons in the socket to share the current page where the visitor is instead of a defined page – like the social share buttons do?
And if possible without using a plugin but maybe adding some code to the functions.php and something like “http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=%5Bpermalink%5D&t=%5Btitle%5D” in the social profile options for facebook i.e.?

I’m sorry but it’s not possible without major modification on the theme. You need to find a social share plugin. Try the following:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-share-buttons-adder/You can modify the footer.php file if necessary.
