    hi there – since the automatic 4.3 update, my enfold installation is behaving strangely in a unique way. i’m using duplicate post (plugin) to create some duplicate pages, which i customize with local city names.

    in doing so, when i click on a text box with a bullet list, the list expands to huge amounts, and looking at the code, just opening the box has added 4

      code tags to each bullet

    • item! very odd.

      curious if you see this behavior. i used duplicate post last night before the update; did not see this behavior. the WP update is the only change on the installation.

    Hey charger70!

    The problem only happens when you duplicate a post with the plugin? Can you take a screenshot of your dashboard and highlight what it looks like?

    yes, here you go, elliot. i’ve done screen grabs showing the various steps that occur after using Duplicate Post (enrico battocci) to dupe a page.

    Here is the default view, after “create new draft” – looks ok! no problems until…

    click on the text box in avia, and here is the visual view - see the increased spacing to all copy? ONLY the bullet list is affected with newly introduced code, though - visually the rest of the copy is spaced, but no new code is introduced. ONLY what you will see next in HTML view.

    and here you go - out of nowhere, these repeated UL tags are added to the bullet list. no idea why. if i save and go back into this box, it introduces MORE. the problem continues until you have dozens of ul open and close tags everywhere around the list items. no ohter parts of the copy have code introductions. very strange!

    by the way, with the update to Enfold 3.3, no change – the problem persists. Just updated and checked again with a freshly duplicated page.

    HI, same problem here. It seems there was some changes to the WP editor now and Enfold hasn’t been updated to fix it, particularly the shortcodes for the textblock element.

    I can confirm that 3.3 enfold works with WP versions prior to 4.3. (WP 4.2.4 for some of our sites).

    Also, WP editor works OK, it’s only the Advanced Layout editor that is getting the issue.

      added in source code at each opening of Avia text editor…

    Updated to enfold 3.3.1, issue is still there for sites updated to WP 4.3.

    Ditto! Very big problem, popping up all over forum. Posted yesterday (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/editor-generating-extra-nested-tags/) with code example and a video screenshot of EXACTLY what everybody else is describing.     Additional info:

    Fresh site with WP 4.3 and without plugins and only enfold 3.3.1 activated gets the issue. WP 4.2.4/Enfold 3.3.1 fresh site does not get the issue.

    Visual editor works fine if the theme is disabled. We are only getting the issue in the advanced editor.

    If you disable visual editor for your profile, HTML editor shows correct elements but front end display is wonky.

    I can confirm this odd behavior as well.

    the code inside of a text element will look like and render as

    ul
    li text /li
    li text /li
    /ul

    and once I update the page and re-enter the text element it will look like and render as

    ul
    ul
    li text /li
    /ul
    /ul
    ul
    ul
    li text /li
    /ul
    /ul

    Found this one though, am not sure if it’s because of the update:

    odd behavior for restore message

    The restore messages usually appear at the top of the page, now I’m seeing them inside textblocks.

    How do I get the Enfold 3.3.2 to fixed this issue of extra space and bullets

    I login to Theme Forest but the new update is not there and I didn’t received email for theme update as I always do

    Hi!

    When you download Enfold from themeforest the version is not 3.3.2 or higher? It would be best to contact themeforest support about this and let them know your not seeing the latest version.

    Anyone have a solution to the duplicate unordered lists UL tags being created each time one edits in advanced layout editor mode? My Parent Theme (Enfold) Version Number is 3.3 and still having these issues.
