    Hi,

    My homepage (www.understandchristianity.com) initially freezes when using Chrome or Safari on the iPad. It will load fine about 10% of the time, but the other 90% it loads the nav bar right away and then freezes for about 45-60 seconds before finally loading the page. I’ve tried deactivating the plugins and and reinstalling, but it still happens. I’ve tried eliminating the Layerslider, but it still happens.

    Any advice you could give would be very much appreciated!

    Hi!

    I don’t have an ipad to test the website with but I have not experienced the issue on a desktop and two android devices (nexus 4/LG G4).

    I have notified the team about testing your website on an ipad.

    In the meantime, may we have a screenshot of the issue taking place? Also do you have any other apple devices you can test to see if the issue occurs?

    Chrome on iPad: Chrome on iPad

    Safari on iPad (which is usually a little less load time): Safari on iPad

    I also checked it on another iPad (a mini) and it did the same thing. It’s also done it in three completely different locations with completely different wifi routers, connection speeds, etc. (Not that that is a big deal, but just FYI.)

    Hey!

    I have tested on iPad and it seems that your customisations and causing the issue, as I have loaded our demo to iPad and same issue not working with us.

    Not sure what customizations you were talking about since the homepage is all made up of normal Enfold elements, but in any case everything seems to be working fine now after the latest WordPress update.
