    Hi all,

Quick question, i’m having an issue getting my featured images to align on the blog page.

Under Enfold > Blog i have it set to Blog Grid and on my blog page i have a “blog post” content with the preview image size set to portfolio (495×400) I’ve even had it set to “Set the previe image size automatically based on column or layout width” but i’m not seeing a difference when one or the other is selected. (see image below)

Essientally i’m trying to get all my featured images to align with one another like how it’s shown on the demo page
    http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/blog/blog-grid/

I’ve tested the images by setting them all to the same dimensions (in photoshop) and trying to upload them but still they don’t align. Am i overlooking something?

    Hey Drebosio,

Could you please provide us with a temporary admin login so that we can take a closer look? You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

    Thanks,
    Rikard

    Hi,

Sorry for the late reply. It looks like you have the correct settings but it will display a bit more stretched since you don’t have a sidebar on the page. Also, I would recommend you to add some more posts to see how the posts will bread to a new line and experiment with the amount of columns to display.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

I added more posts and even a sidebar, but it still isn’t displaying as the demo page shows.

The 2 that are almost, but not quite, aligned (sample 3 & 4) are almost the same dimensions.

Is there a dimension used for the featured image, i can crop the images no problem but need to know those dimensions. It’s not a fix but a work around i’m happy to use

    Thanks

    Hi!

Please edit the blog post element then set the Preview Image Size to manual. You will then be able to select the thumbnail that you want to use. If you select the Portfolio thumbnail for example, all the post featured image should be larger than 495x400px, and preferably with the same ratio or proportion. In the demo, you’ll notice that the posts are using images with the same size and proportion:

New electric cars are getting really fast

New studies show: Vacations are needed

    Cryptocurrencies are booming

    Cheers!

Hi, not sure of the etiquette – if I should start a new thread w the same issue or jump into this one.

I’m using the blog content element on my home page a few times, and have set the image size to magazine (710×375). All post featured images are the same size, but one image in the blog grid is appearing slightly higher than the others. Link to website below. Do you have any ideas what’s causing this?

    Hi,

@edgold: Are you using an extension or plugin for the images? The URL of the featured images look a bit different and the appended query is probably being used by a certain script to load a different image instead of the selected thumbnail. (see private field)

    Best regards,
    Ismael
