Social sharing, or single page help

Hello,

I’ve built a site for a tattoo company. They have several artists showcasing their work and I need to display it through the site.

I created a portfolio category for each artist, then uploaded each image to the featured image of each new portfolio item I created.

I have a portfolio page, which uses the portfolio grid to then display all the portfolio items, which works nicely.

My issue is, I need to be able to have social sharing, and better functionality for people to flick through the images.

Using a lightbox is perfect as it sizes the images proportionally correct, but I’ve not found anyway at all to add social sharing to the lightbox (even trying the things suggested in this forum).

My other option is to have the images open on a new page, which does give me the sharing options, but presents two new problems:
– not all the images are the same size or ratio. I’ve tried changing the sizes in functions.php, but unless the images exactly match that, they don’t stay proportionally right and I lose some of the image. Additionally, this seems to mess up the grid as they’re not all the same ratio.
– It’s difficult to browse through the images. I notice there are left and right arrows – is there a way to make these bigger? Perhaps only sit within the frame of the page, not the whole site?

The images appear on the individual artists pages, so I thought using the portfolio functionality would be best, but if there’s a better way to achieve what I need to, i’m all ears!
