Hello,
Using Enfold’s Avia Layout Builder, when I add a Video Media Element, there is no full screen option for the video.
If I call the video as [video src="https://url"] then the video works and has a full screen button but this isn’t as friendly for the anyone to edit.
Could you please advise what might be going wrong?
Thanks.
August 5, 2015 at 6:01 am #483082Hi CharlotteRead!
In order to enable the fullscreen button on the embedded video play, please try inserting the video via the “insert media” button in a text block:

The video shortcode doesn’t really have a fullscreen option or parameter by default. Please check the available options for the shortcode in the following link.
// https://wordpress.org/support/article/video-shortcode/
If you want to add a full width container with a background video, try to instead use the Color Section or the Slider elements.

IsmaelFebruary 11, 2021 at 11:11 am #1279706Hello,
we have the same problem. We are using the Video Module from Enfold to insert the Video. When I look at the generated iframe, i can see that the Attribute “allowfullscreen” is missing. This is needed in iframes to activate the Fullscreen Button in the HTML5 PLAYER.
e.g.
<iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/videoseries?list=PLx0sYbCqOb8TBPRdmBHs5Iftvv9TPboYG” frameborder=”0″ allow=”autoplay; encrypted-media” allowfullscreen></iframe>
https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/171780?hl=enWill you fix this in a future release or how can i filter the Generation of the iframe to add the attribute (functions.php)?

A temporary solution has been provided in the following thread.
// https://kriesi.at/support/topic/play-video-in-fullscreen/#post-1233484
Unfortunately, we are not yet sure if this will be included in the next update.
If you have more questions, please create a new thread. We will close this one for now.
Best regards,
