Hey guys,
when I use the Standard Editor for the main picture on the left when hovering the pic above a red circle with a white arrow appears and a preview is shown for that pic.
Do I change to the Advanced Layout Editor and Insert an image in that same position, nothing happened but the scaling you can adjust for that.
How can I have a preview as it is in the first example?
Thanks Stephan
August 4, 2015 at 8:13 pm #482937Hi handelsmann!
When using the standard editor the format you select as shown below determines how the featured image will interact with your post:

When using the advanced layout editor, you could try using a gallery with settings similar to these:

thanks for your fast reply. What is a mystery to me is how I can integrate a bigger picture with a lightbox view without having thumbs or let me say it in another way: how can I add a bigger headpicture above (with lightbox) and 4 different thumbnails (lightbox) below (that don’t include the headpicture as a thumb).
Hope you get the idea.

August 6, 2015 at 7:33 am #483693Hey!
Looks like you managed to find a workaround by using the image element. Is that right? If you want to enable the lightbox, edit the image element then go to the “Link Settings” panel. Set the Image Link? to “Lightbox”.

IsmaelAugust 9, 2015 at 4:33 pm #484912Hey Ismael,
thank you so much. That was a great progress. What I am confused about is the following:
I want to have a great picture and down below 4 thumbs BUT WITHOUT THE GREAT PICTURE AS A THUMB.
And all of the represent in the lightbox. So the actuall approach ist to either take a
picture or gallery as a media element for the great picture and another gallery for the thumbs. What it does is
showing the pictures in different lightboxes, so you cannot open the great picture in the lightbox and have
the option to go back and forth. How do I simply do that?Found out in addition when chosing a gallery for
presenting only one picture (in case of the great picture: gallery style: thumbs | No scaling: original with x height | one column | lightbox: yes | activation of animation with loading) there is no circle with white arrow. You can see the result here: Private Link.
Thank you.

In order to achieve your desired gallery view, you would need to perform modifications outside of the current scope of support.
We would recommend enlisting the aid of a freelancer to perform the necessary work.

thanks for your response. Are you telling me that this behaviour and functionlity of images and lightbox in
the link attached is programmed?! Looks like some kind of standard. Thanks man.

August 14, 2015 at 10:24 pm #488037Hi!
The lightbox script we use in Enfold (Magnific Popup) can only open a single image via Lightbox. That being said, there are some plugins that kinda have this functionality you want:

JosueAugust 16, 2015 at 2:23 pm #488369Hey Josue,
thanks for your response. BUT – the link I sent to you is YOUR LIGHTBOX !!!
If you click here on your Enfold Gallery it shows 4 pics in the lightbox.
So the question is, how do I setup a bigger picture at the top,
which is included in the lightbox but have no smaller thumb.
Thanks man.
Best StephanAugust 16, 2015 at 3:21 pm #488380Hey Josue,
and the crazy thing is: I copied the product and switched from the Advanced Layout Editor to Standard. Then he uses the product picture and the previews (product galerie) from within the product itself. When you know click, it is exactly what I want to have in the advanced layout as I want to customize the right side of the product.

I get a nothing found error when trying to open the page you have provided. Not sure if I understand though. Can you elaborate please?

sorry that wasnt published. Here is the link.
Can’t get a hand on it, as it is for three seconds
the way it should be and then it switches over
to some kind of cutted preview with arrows
from left to right to choose a thumb.Just wanna have a big header with
4 different thumbs below, without header as a thumb
and all 5 in the lightboxBest Stephan
August 17, 2015 at 8:51 pm #489123August 20, 2015 at 9:42 am #490623Hey Josue,
awesome. Thank you. That seems to be a little bit tricky. It’s a mystery to me how to set up
that gallery individual for each product.Any idea how to talk directly to the productimage and the product gallery
to create something likeproductimage
productgallery1 productgallery2 productgallery3 productgallery4and send them all into the lightbox?
I just wonder how the thumbs get that red circle with with arrows when hovering. In enfold gallery that doesnt work (for me).
Thanks

JosueAugust 22, 2015 at 12:25 pm #491711Hi Josue,
thank you man. This looks greater than everything before. Where and how did you create that?
Thats exactly what I want to achieve EXCEPT
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
that missing RED CIRCLE and arrow pointing to the LIGHTBOX
for the THUMBS. How did they force the thumb to display that?
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxEverything else seems perfect. Do you think this detail can be fixed?

August 22, 2015 at 10:36 pm #491766Hey!
Add this to Quick CSS:
.single-product-main-image .thumbnails .image-overlay { display: block !important; top: 0; }

JosueAugust 22, 2015 at 10:56 pm #491767Hey,
this is awesome. Can you give me a hint where this is created?
So grateful.
Thanks JosueAugust 22, 2015 at 11:12 pm #491769Hi!
Check the TestProdukt backend view, it’s the default structure, one thing to note is that i disabled some plugins (bxSlider, WC image zoom and zWoom) that were affecting the normal gallery view.
Regards,
JosueAugust 23, 2015 at 6:01 pm #491874Hey Josue,
GREAT. So what you are saying is it was there all the time and just the plugins prevented it from displaying the right way? I cannot find any structure in the back, just productimage and productgallery. That’s it? What about bxslider custom library you said? Not necessary?
Thank you so much.Regards
StephanAugust 23, 2015 at 11:01 pm #491937Hi Stephan!
Yes, they are probably not necessary if the default view is what you want, try re-doing it with another product and let us know if you need further assistance.

did that directly and it worked perfectly. Thank you so much.

August 24, 2015 at 11:36 am #492094Josue,
I FORGOT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING:
How Do I realize that behaviour with the Advanced Layout Builder? I need exactly that way of a gallery in the ALB.
One big header picture and four different thumbs without header as a thumb. That was my BIG CHALLENGE as I need
to create customize right site like it is on my ALB product pages (LINK attached)Thanks Stephan
August 24, 2015 at 7:32 pm #492455Hey!
1. I’ve changed a setting in Header > Mobile Menu and now the header should correctly turn into mobile mode for smaller screens, one thing left would be to set the logo in the Theme Options so it looks like the desktop header.
2. Try using a combination of Image + Gallery element for that.
Regards,
JosueAugust 25, 2015 at 3:00 pm #492956Hey Josue
1. Thank you so much. Yes, changed or add the logo, Why is it that the menu has a line-break instead of shrink to a certain level – determinded by a fix size?
2. THATS EXACT THE PROBLEM FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE POST. What it does is to add a bigger headphoto a) without a frame like the thumbs and as it is in the standard editor
b) in its own lightbox, so you have 1 headphoto in the lightbox for IMAGE and 4 thumbs in the lightbox for PREVIEWGet mad about this. Or did they customized the standard? It looks exactly like ALB with the gallery of standard.
Best Stephan
August 26, 2015 at 10:25 am #493399Hey!
Yeah they are using the standard single product view (no ALB). The only thing that comes to my mind would be to use a single gallery with the “Großes Bild mit Thumbnails unterhalb” style.
Best regards,
JosueAugust 26, 2015 at 7:08 pm #493772Hey,
mmmh – “Big Picture with thumbs below” style means
a) all thumbs will be seen in the big picture too
b) the big picture will also be in the thumbs.Thats not the way it is in the example page.
Do you think its impossible too find out by source code?
Cannot believe that. Everything is right in front of our eyes.Best Stephan
August 27, 2015 at 10:12 am #493990Hi!
so basically you want to have two separate lightbox galleries, right? one for the big image and another for the thumbnails, right?
if yes you could try to put the lightboxes into different groups. Try to follow these treads:
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/group-lightbox/#post-301943
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/needed-code-for-multiple-image-lightbox/#post-114129Also have a look at how the prettyphoto lightbox script is working: http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/
If I understood you wrong, maybe you can explain in german? ich habe gesehen, dass dein WordPress Backend auf Deutsch eingestellt ist.
Gruß,
