My client was working on her site and the content on the front page wouldn’t show any more. There are something like 260 revisions. I tried to go back to successively older versions and none of them will restore it to where it was. What should we do or can you help, please? You can see all the pages and work in edit mode, but not live.

    Here are the details: http://www.visualbridgecommunications.com/

we want to restore the latest versions being worked on earlier today. thank you!

    Hey gharding,

Could you try enabling debug mode and then copy/paste the shortcode to a new page to see if you have any luck with that please? It sounds like something has gone wrong with the revision on the page you are using now.

    Cheers!

I already did something similar to what you’re asking by saving the page as a template and then using it on a test page, and it works: http://www.visualbridgecommunications.com/test-4/

    what is debug mode?

Here’s the thing: I tried restoring back to older revisions one by one and none of them would restore on the homepage.

    thanks

I just figured out that if you can make a new page, than you can change that to the new homepage. That worked. thanks
