Hi guys. I’ve been having issues uploading images to our media library since the beginning of July. We recently took a client’s website to HTTPS to allow secure transactions and since then, our site is in jambles. I spoke with our hosting and they said it is the theme that is causing the issue.
Essentially, I’ve had to use FTP to upload images for the past week while they looked into the issue. I get no specific error, just a vague one: “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.”
I’ve tried disabling plugins, clearing cache, etc etc. Has this occurred before? I really need some guidance as the site will be going live within the next month. I’ve even read this forum for solutions such as allotting more PHP space and changing permissions, but nothing has fixed the issue. Help, please?

That certainly is strange.
Are you getting the same error if you try using the twenty fifteen theme?
I’m getting an error when trying to log in.

Nope, I’m only seeing it happen with Enfold. Providing new login information:

August 6, 2015 at 5:24 am #483669Hi!
Looks like you’re using an old version of the theme, 3.1.4. Please update to version 3.2.2. After that, use this plugin to force the resources to load over https: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-https/
Cheers!
IsmaelAugust 6, 2015 at 12:55 pm #483821I`m having the same problem since yesterday.
I try to upload images with default theme and no problem.
I also try dasibling all plugins and reinstalling the enfold and nothing change.
Using Enfold 3.2.3 and wordpress 4.2.4
Thanks

I check your website and tried to upload a new image, without any issues. Could you fix it already?
Best regards,
AndyAugust 6, 2015 at 10:04 pm #484186Hey guys! I was able to get things working. It seemed like despite the API and login telling me we were “up to date”, it wasn’t the case with the theme updates. Got it worked out. Thanks!
Also, may want to delete migue_theme’s post to me, I can see his private login data….
August 7, 2015 at 9:02 am #484345Hi,
Great, glad you got it fixed. We’ll have a look at the privacy settings for that, thanks for letting us know.

August 8, 2015 at 6:16 am #484751Hey @migue_theme,
I just uploaded the Kriesi logo without any problems, what kind of files are you having trouble with?
Thanks,
RikardAugust 10, 2015 at 12:07 pm #485207I’m trying to upload a 1080px and 461kb picture.
I already upload the same picture size to another website with the same theme and there’s no problem…

August 11, 2015 at 4:38 am #485722Hi,
It might be something local, could you try to flush your browser cache and reload a few times or try in a different browser? If that doesn’t work then upload the image you are having trouble with to imgur.com and we’ll give it try instead.
Best regards,
RikardOctober 5, 2015 at 1:17 pm #513734So, still having the problem…

October 6, 2015 at 5:36 am #514132Hey,
I got an error as well uploading that picture and it looks like it’s a memory issue, please try to increase the WordPress memory: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
Thanks,
RikardOctober 6, 2015 at 1:07 pm #514362Problem solved, for now. But not at the way you say.
I created a php.ini file with this parameters :
upload_max_filesize = 35M;
post_max_size = 35M;and upload the file into wp-admin folder. For now…problem solved.
I also increased memory WordPress as you say…but not solved the problem.
Thanks
