Hello,
I have several product categories on my website and I wanted to show them on the left sidebar of my product archive pages. Since I have for each category several submenu’s I had to make some custom menu’s to make it look the way I wanted it to look. In order to make this happen I installed the Plugin ??? and placed these made these custom menu’s only visible on specific pages regarding these submenu’s via the ID_tag feature. This worked perfectly fine, wonderfully.
But unfortunately I am unable to delete the sidebar on my first product archive page, the shop page. I did not place any widgets on this page but it keeps showing these three (pages, categories and archive, see attached file) areas on the sidebar. I am not able to get rid of them. I find it really strange since I did not specify these widgets in any of the widget area’s.
Is there a way to get rid of this sidebar and only show the main product categories on this page, without any sidebar at all.
Kind regards,
Rick Lodder
The installed Plugin is Display Widgets instead of ???, haha.
Hi!
Could you please provide us with a temporary admin login so that we can take a closer look? You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.
Best regards,

Rikard,
I am not a big fan of handing out my login credentials, is there no other way of finding the solution here?
When I add a custom menu for the specific page the there widgets (pages, categories and archive) disappear and only the custom menu appears. Maybe that helps?
Kind regards,
