    hi

    on my website i want full width layout on my home page

    but on all my other pages I want to have set as a boxed layout

    how am I best achieving this?

    what i dont understand is if i place the code mentioned here

    on one of my sites it works fine but on another site of mine that uses a child theme the code mentioned above fails to work

    Which of the solutions are you using? Please check to make sure the page id is correct, or if you are using the second one, that the page in question is the front or home page.
