    Hi guys,

    I recently came to you guys for this issue which you very kindly helped me with…

    I’ve just tried to use a shortcode suggested here to remove the icon in the hover state above an image.

    This looks as though it has removed the Roboto Condensed font from the headings and body text.

    I presume adding that code has caused this but I wasn’t aware this could happen and now have no idea to solve this.

    Could you help?

    Many thanks

    Alex

    Hey edney23!

    I think what your wanting to do is add this to your custom CSS.

    .image-overlay { display: none !important; }

    Remove the customization you did that is causing the font problem and send us a link to your page so we can take a look.

    Best regards,
    Elliott

    Ok – I removed the code and added that suggested version in place and Roboto Condensed is no where to be seen. Login details are supplied below.

    Thanks very much for the help.

    Hey!

    You only have the H6 element set to Roboto in the Enfold settings and it’s displaying fine on the frontend. Which element are you trying to change to Roboto? Send us a link to the exact page please.

    Cheers!

    Hi Elliot,

    Thanks for getting back to me.

    The font in question is Roboto Condensed. This is what I had help with to install for the headings but has now disappeared. That’s the issue.

    No exact page as this is a site wide issue.

    Thanks

    Hey!

    Update Enfold to the latest version, 3.2.3, and then install a child theme, http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/downloads/, and activate it.

    To add a new Google font you’ll need to do this, http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/register-additional-google-fonts-for-theme-options/. The code should be added in the child theme functions.php file.

    Best regards,
    Elliott

    Hi Elliot,

    I can update and then install the child theme but the suggested Google font link is what what I tried last time in the original issue, highlighted in my original post on this thread.

    Is there an alternative solution to this please? It was working fine before…

    Thanks

    Hey!

    Check it now, it is working again as expected. It seems your disabled the plugin Functionality which i used to register Roboto Condensed as a heading font available in General Styling > Fonts.

    Best regards,
    Josue

    Ah sorry – I didn’t know that was working based on a plugin.

    Thanks for your help – I’ll attempt to be more logical next time!

    No problem, it was partially my fault not be specific about that in your first thread heh, glad to help :)

    Sorry Josue – I am having further issues since I upgraded to the latest version of Enfold.

    The post headers are now back below the image and also now indented on the blog page. On the homepage, they are beneath the image but not indented. In both situations there is no excerpt despite me making the necessary actions to do so.

    I’ve checked on multiple browsers, made sure the functions plugin is activated and working but I have no idea what else to try.

    I’m sorry that this is becoming a saga now! I really do appreciate the help given so far but could you lend a further hand with this please?

    Many thanks

    Hey!

    Not sure what you’re referring to exactly but could be related to this code in Quick CSS:

    @media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {
    .page-id-731 .entry-content-header {
     padding-left: 130px;
     margin-bottom: 20px;
    }
    }

    Cheers!
