Is it possible to have a Menu item that does not have a page or link ?
Other words, on my site. http://www.darrellcheeks.com, I would like to keep the word “About” in my menu, but I do not want it clickable. Must choose a page in the sub menu.

Hey Darrell!
In order to add a blank link to your menu, simply navigate to appearance>menu>custom links.
From there you you should set your menu item’s URL to # as shown below:
