    Hello.

    Item Cloning
I just wanted to get some clarification on this. As an example, I add an accordion to a page and I then immediately clone the accordion…rather than going back to the top of the editor and selecting another accordion. If I add a background color to the initial accordion…it also gets applied to the cloned accordion. If this is working as intended, then my interpretation is that one should only use the cloning option when they want all (original and cloned) items to have the same CSS properties.

    Accordion Issue
If you look at the very last accordion entry on this page, you’ll see “‘As” as the title, when it should be “As most solar installs have a SIR < 1, whose discount rate is used in the financial analysis? ” Any idea why this is getting shortened?

    Hey rlogan2334!

it’s because of the “>” you are using, which is typical HTML code item. I changed it to “=” which is working fine. Use HTML code/Unicode instead. Look at this table: http://unicode-table.com/de/#003E

Awesome, thanks! How about the cloning question?

    Hey!

As far as I know that should not be happening, the cloned element should not take on the properties of the parent. Could we have access to a page where you are getting this problem please?

    Here is the page: http://md-pace.com/about/faqs/

I had a slightly similar ticket here. I understand the 3rd party plugin thing, but CSS Hero claims Enfold to be CSS Hero-ready. I’d think I should be able to clone an item in Enfold and then apply settings to each individual item via CSS Hero.

You should have the credentials already. Thanks!

    Hey!

The cloned element should inherit all properties from the parent element but when you edit the initial or parent element again, the cloned element should not inherit the parent’s new properties. I haven’t tested css hero personally with enfold so I’m not sure if it is fully compatible with the advance layout builder.

That’s close…but not exactly what I’m talking about. I’m talking about cloning the initial/parent and then editing any of the cloned items with CSS Hero. Editing the initial/parent also results in all cloned items being changed. If you log into the site and edit the page I’m referencing, it takes 30 seconds to test this yourself, by simply changing the background color of ANY of the Accordions on the page via CSS Hero.

The main reason I purchased (and continue to purchase) Enfold is because CSS Hero lists it as a CSS Hero-ready theme. Either Enfold, CSS Hero or both…should, IMO…figure out why this is happening. It’s either a bug or Enfold is not truly a CSS Hero-ready theme.

    Can you help?

    Hey!

Ok I understand your issue now but I’m not familiar with that plugins, I logged in but I wasn’t sure how or where to see the CSS classes/ID’s it generates? The changes in CSS will depend on what classes or ID’s you/the plugin is using, elements usually contain more than one class so if you are using one which is applied them all it will of course effect all of them.

    Regards,
    Rikard
