Tagged: rel="nofollow"
Hi Guys,
I have images that I want link settings on but I want to know how to set the class to “nofollow”. Do I add “rel=”nofollow”” in the Custom Css Class in the Link Settings tab when inserting the image?
Hey Annemarie!
You would do it like so.
<a href = "custom URL" rel = "nofollow"><img src = "URL to your image" /></a>
If your using our image shortcode then right click your page and view the source and copy the HTML for it. You can then paste that inside a codeblock element and set the rel attribute to nofollow.

So I can’t insert an image element from the Avia Layout Builder and use upload from the media archive… is my only option to insert a code block and insert manual html?( I’m only checking because I can do that easily but clients are not savvy in how to add manual html.)
Hi!
Yes, there currently is no “rel” option in our layout builder so you would need to do it that way. This is rare request but you could try creating a feature request here, https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/, and if it gets some more interest then we may see some more options get added in a future update.
Best regards,
Elliott
I would also like this feature to be built into the page builder.
Hi,
Please feel free to request – or vote if already requested – such feature on Enfold feature request form.
