    Hallo zusammen,

    ich habe heute WordPress 4.2.2. installiert und seitdem zahlreiche Probleme mit dem Theme.

    1. Alle Kontaktformulare auf der Seite sind weg
    2. In WordPress kann ich die Seiten nicht mehr bearbeiten (Lädt sich tot)
    3. Auch der Layouter funktioniert nicht mehr. Kann also auch keine neuen Seiten erstellen.

    Ich brauche dringend Hilfe! Ich habe mich gerade selbständig gemacht und brauche eine funktionierende Seite!!!

    Danke für eure schnelle Hilfe.

    – Wie haben Sie führen die WordPress aktualisieren?

    – Deaktivieren Sie alle Ihre Plugins als Test, um zu sehen, wenn ihr einen Konflikt.

    – Schließlich sicher, enfold auf die neueste Version zu aktualisieren.

    Hey Dake,

    thanks for your answer. Maybe it is easer then to reply in english

    1. WordPress was updated by using the offered button within the wordpress dashboard
    2. all plugins were deactivated – no positive outcome
    3. Enfold theme was used to create an child theme based on enfold. If I update the enfold theme can there be any problems with the child theme, which contains all modifications for the website?

    Can you please try updating the theme via FTP and overwrite all files – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/?

    I did it- Now the child theme does not work with enfold together anymore! Design crushed! It has never happened before with any other enfold version! So please help to fix the bug. Thanks, Ulf

    Hi!

    Please upload enfold.zip somewhere on your server (and tell us where) then post FTP credentials here privately so we can update the theme for you.

    Ok – it seems that you uploaded the file.

    Result:
    – The Layouter works

    STILL ISSUES WITH THE CHILD THEME!! The layout of the page is incorrect – If you have a look on http://www.heart-working.de you will see what I mean. The logo and the menu structure does not work.

    As I said: It is the first time, that issues happened with enfold and the child theme bases on your theme.

    So: What is the next step to fix these things?

    Hey Yigit,

    done – see private info.

    FYI: I had a short contact with my previous programmer, who created the child theme. She was telling me that she is not working longer as a programmer and can not give me hand. In other words: I really hope that you can fix the bug, because I can not do it and so far it has always been working.

    Hope to see and hear a positive result.

    When i remove custom CSS code from Quick CSS field, your header looks like this ( please see private field below ). Do you have a screenshot showing how your header used to look? If not, please elaborate on how you would like to look so we can provide you a more accurate help :)

    Hey Yigit,

    remove?!? Hope that you have copies of the old version :)

    The actual version is a disaster on my computer. The navigation is now green and crushed.

    I downloaded a test backup restore (Link see private info), which is valid for the next 2 hours.

    There you can see how the site should looks like.
