    Hi there,

I’d like to know how to set up the avia login/register widget, like you have for this forum, with the bbPress forum?

Also, should the shortcodes for bbPress work in the avia code block? When I try it, they don’t.

    Thanks

    Hi Krissie!

Yes, bbPress shortcodes should work in Code Block element. Please create a temporary admin login and post it here privately.
You can go to Appearance > Widgets and use bbPress login widget

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Hey Yigit,

Thanks for getting back to me.
I’ve created a temporary login for you see below.

The shortcodes wouldn’t work in the code block when I tried it. So I’ve had to put them directly in the default editor for now. I would rather have it in a code block as I can then play with the page more.

Also, I can’t get the login widget to work for me, it causes an internal 500 error.

I’ve been looking at buddypress but just want a simple forum really and don’t need all these additional options that buddypress comes with. I’m following the bbPress instructions but there is no help with the bbPress plugin. I’ve asked their forum as well.

    Cheers! x

Oh and it does the error too when you try and look at the link live, when you’re not logged in:

    Morning Yigit,

I think I’ve worked out the issue with the internal error, the bbpress plugin was conflicting with the anti-spam plugin. I also sorted the code block issue by deleting the pages and starting again.

However, I’m still having issues with the template interacting with bbpress.

There is no login option despite me using the bbpress login widget on the right hand side bar. Also, the footer disappears. Please can you have a look for me, using the login I’ve provided?

    Thanks

    Hey!

you are using lots of plugins. Please deactivate all of them temporarily to see which one is causing this issue. Clear browser cache and hard refresh your website to check again.

    Cheers!
    Andy
