Hi There,
I have still problems with the SEO plugin from yoast and the Enfold theme. When i’am editing a blog post or a page, i cant do anything in the plugin because the enfold theme is blocking the plugin i quess.
I have also downgraded the plugin to 1.5.5. but the problem still occur:

So i hope you can help me.. .
July 6, 2015 at 3:37 pm #469011Hey Dierbewust25!
That should not be happening. Is Enfold, WordPress, and the Yoast plugin updated to their latest versions? Try deactivating all of your other plugins to see what happens.
You forgot to include a link to your site with your login information.
Cheers!

July 6, 2015 at 5:31 pm #469136Hey!
You need to install this plugin, https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/, if you want to use Yoast SEO.

Sorry, i dont understand you? I have already installed Yoast SEO 2.2.1…
Thanks for helping me out.
July 7, 2015 at 2:03 pm #469649Hi!
I’m running Yoast SEO on several installations of Enfold without any problems, I think it’s most likely one of the others causing the issue. Could you try to disable all plugins except for Yoast to see if that is the case?
Best regards,
RikardJuly 7, 2015 at 3:51 pm #469753I have deactivated all my plugins except Yoast SEO and the problem still occurs?
July 8, 2015 at 8:07 am #470050Hi!
Are we allowed to disable plugins for testing and verification purposes?

RikardJuly 8, 2015 at 10:10 am #470103Hi!
Yes you are :)
July 9, 2015 at 5:26 am #470610Hi!
I can’t see what’s causing that, disabling plugins didn’t work like you stated earlier but something is obviously going wrong although I don’t think it’s caused by the theme. Could you try to overwrite your theme files with a fresh copy from Themeforest via FTP to see if that works? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/. Also try to reinstall your Yoast plugins.

RikardJuly 10, 2015 at 9:56 am #471356Hi Rikard,
I have done the following: overwrite the theme (in FTP, downloaded from Themeforest, i guess it’s up to date). I have also deleted the plugin from yoast en reinstalled it. But still have the same problem.
When i’am in the style sheet, he is also saying that the theme is broken and there is no main headteam present. Install the main theme or “Template”. But i have overwritten the theme and have never changed something in the stylesheet.

July 10, 2015 at 5:10 pm #471609Hi!
Hmm, it didn’t look like you had it installed before but you do now. Try completely deleting Enfold from your WordPress theme directory before downloading + uploading a fresh copy from themeforest.

July 12, 2015 at 9:26 pm #472082Hey!
I have now done a clear Install with Enfold and activated Yoast SEO and everything worked fine.
Please do a clear installation, test it and let us know if the error you get it there.Best regards,
BasilisJuly 14, 2015 at 3:07 pm #473218Hi,
You mean by a clear installation to install wordpress again? Because we have reinstalled the enfold theme and deleted the SEO plugin.
If you mean a new installation, do you have a link to an guide, so i will not loose my blogs, media (pictures) etc.
Thanks a lot.
Regards
July 15, 2015 at 1:32 pm #473707Hey!
you can delete all theme files via FTP without loosing your settings (as they are stored in the database). Afterwards get a fresh copy from your themeforest account an install Enfold via FTP: https://vimeo.com/64927356
However, please make sure to have a backup, just in case.
Cheers!
AndyJuly 15, 2015 at 1:43 pm #473714Hi Andy,
Thanks for answering. But, as i said before, i have already done this stap. There is a new (fresh) installation of Enfold installed and the SEO plugin is also reinstalled.
But the problem still occurs.

July 15, 2015 at 2:02 pm #473733Hi!
I get the following error:
Dit thema is kapot. Er is geen hoofdhema aanwezig. Installeer het hoofdthema “Template”.
Which means that our theme is broken while uploaded and needs to be re-uploaded.
Cheers!
BasilisJuly 15, 2015 at 2:04 pm #473736In the meantime and after a reinstall this error is fixed.. but still have the same problem :(
July 16, 2015 at 2:51 pm #474343Hey!
I see your getting a javascript error now. Try deactivating all of your plugins except for the WordPress SEO plugin.
If your still getting the problem after doing that then add this to your wp-config.php file.
define( 'CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false );
And let us know when your done so we can take another look.
Best regards,
ElliottJuly 27, 2015 at 11:21 am #479004I have installed a fresh WordPress version and update the ENfold theme on my server. And i’am glad to let you know, it is working now.
So thanks for your support and you can close this thread.
Best Regards,
