In my portfolio overview the last added featured images are shown out of proportion.
“Bull” and “Frankenheim”
(they are cropped at the left/right and are much higher than the other featured pictures)
All the pictures have the same proportions. I wonder why this happens.
Hey jrose!
this is happening because those two images have an image height of 269px while the others have 187px. Please use same image height to make sure they look the same.
Best regards,
Andy
This ist strange, even when I make the hight to 187px it happens that its displayes wrong. All the other featured images are very big when chosen and are inserted (for exeample the “Avonex”-feature image is 1380 x 780 and is shown correctly. There must be something thats scales it automaticly.

Juraj
What I found out ist that the same picture, uploadet today and 2 weeks ago is displayes differently. The proportions are one thing, but also the color is diefferent now.
See the differrence on the portfoliopage. The “Test” (uploadet today) and the “Healtcare M..” (uploadet 2 weks ago). The pictures that were uploadet two weeks ago are correct in proportion and color (brighter). Has anything changed in the last weeks? How can I upload like two weeks ago?
Kind regards
Juraj

Hey!
please regenerate your thumbnails with a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
Afterwards clear browser cache and refresh you website a few times.
Wordpress is cropping your images by default when uploading and if you want to have more control over image size you can use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/ (which can also regenerate your thumbnails).
Best regards,
Andy
Hi,
regenerating the thumbnails was the solution. Your are great.
