Hi,
Experiencing a very unusual issue. We developed a site on a domain and designed it using the Theme Options. We then made a development version in a sub-folder to make changes before making live etc, so a Site 1 and the copy, Site 2.
The issue is that when updating the styling options, Header tag overrides etc, it’s not updating on Site 2, but on Site 1. In the sources of both, the correct paths to enfold.css are there for each, so I’m completely stumped as to how this issue is happening? Is there some kind of caching happening?
I deleted enfold.css from Site 2 and re-saved from the options panel of Site 2, and all styling disappears from Site 2 with no regenerated css file. But, if I change the colours of H2s to pink on Site 2 (when enfold.css exists in Site 2), it changes only on Site 1.
Any ideas?
Hey OwenDevelopment!
I’m not sure I understand. If you have two WordPress installations then their settings will be different. You have to update each separately.
Cheers!

Yeah I know, that’s exactly what I want. BUT I’m updating Site B and it’s only updating Site A – but only the colours from theme options, other options, settings and content are independent. It’s all down to enfold.css.
Is the enfold.css file location cached by the theme somewhere? It’s the only thing I can explain as to why that CSS is being overwritten, like it’s using the wrong enfold.css file…
Any ideas? I’m stumped! 100% seperate database / db prefix etc it’s just the enfold.css getting mixed up
Hey!
Why will Site A affect Site B or vice versa? If you have two different installations then you should change or update both settings. I’m sorry but your original thread is a bit confusing. A screenshot, link to the site or a diagram describing the issue will greatly help.
Best regards,
Ismael
