Front page without scroll bar

Hello. I have a few questions, if you could please help.

1. I want my front page to fit the browser screen, so there’s no scroll bar. I removed the socket in order to achieve this but I still have a scroll bar which just moves a tiny bit. How can I remove it completely?

2. I’d like the captions of my fullscreen slider on the frontpage to be aligned with the menu on the left.

3. How can I have my footer/socket stretch to browser’s window edge (similar to header)?
