    Hi,

    Is there any way to achieve the following using WP+Enfold theme:

    • Create template for widgetA
    • Use widgetA on many pages
    • WidgetA needs updated copy
    • Update widgetA template and ALL instances of widgetA are updated automatically
    • All pages using widgetA now show updated widgetA copy

    This is as opposed to my current scenario of having to manually update widgetA on each page that uses it.
    Looking to hear from others out there who have had this need and how they met it.

    Hi papashivo!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    I’m a bit confused about the “widget” word here because it is usually related to the wp sidebar but in context, looks like you’re referring to a page template. Is that right? You can save a template layout using the advance layout builder but you can’t update all pages that are using this template automatically.

    Yeah sorry, by widget I am not referring to the WP sidebar widget but rather a reusable component.
    I am aware of and use the ability to save templates in the advanced layout builder.

    So there is no other way to do this? Perhaps via custom layout builder elements?

    Hi!

    No, unfortunately, the theme doesn’t have that capability or feature. Maybe, you should look for a plugin or create a template then use custom fields. http://bit.ly/1HvufY8
