Hi – I know that if I upload a pdf and they click on it, it opens in a window from which they can download. This is great for email list opt-in. I was thinking of creating an audio file that they could download. I’ve been uploading audio files in my blog through your content short code function (e.g. http://dominiquehurley.com/enter-the-mandala-the-law-of-correspondence/ ). But this doesn’t seem to allow folks to download it. When I clicked Control and on the audio, it showed Save As, but it only saves as html , not an audio file.
Is it possible through Enfold to upload an audio file that people can download ?
    Thanks.

    Hey!

Linking the audio file directly should lead to a download, something like:

    <a href="URL_to_audi_file'>Download Audio File</a>

Hello Josue, I’m happy to hear it may be possible. I’m a non-techy and need a bit more help figuring it out. If I create a Page and “Add Media”, then select an audio file, it gives me 3 options in the “Attachment or Display Setting – Embed or Link”:
    1) Embed Media File
    2)Link to Media File
    3) Link to Attachment Page
If I try to change the link in 2 or 3 to what you gave me, it asks me if I want to Leave Page. So not sure that’s where I’m supposed to do what you gave me in your advice.

    Please provide more details. Thanks.

    Hey!

Ok, do it this way instead.
    1. Go to Media > Add new and upload your audio file.
    2. Click to Edit that newly uploaded media file and copy the URL – http://screencast.com/t/ppysuPcCvpr
    3. Then use that link wherever you want to put the download trigger, for example to create a simple link: 1) http://screencast.com/t/s3U0RNmJ4E 2) http://screencast.com/t/BzXG5t5g

    Regards,
    Josue
