Can you please help me understand why these two pages differ in how one displays a selected state in the left nav while the other does not?

    highlighted (looks selected)
    http://asdrugtest.com/test-cups/

    not highlighted
    http://asdrugtest.com/saliva-tests/

I’d like each of them to look selected when the page is active. The problem repeats on some of the other left menu links as well.

    Hi bluesbrush!

Could you please provide us with a temporary admin login so that we can take a closer look? You can post the details here as a private reply.

    Regards,

    Hey!

This seems to be a WordPress bug. In other forums, it is suggested to use the full url to fix it. Go to Settings > General then change the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) to http://www.asdrugtest.com. We prepend the “www” text.

Please create a restore point or a backup of the site before doing anything.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

Unfortunately, changing the WordPress Address (URL) in settings had no effect.

    Hey!

I removed the menu items then added it back and it seems to have fixed the issue.

Interesting… I tried to replicate your success with the bottom three links (remove and re-add) but had no luck….???
    Fertility Tests
    International Products
    OEM Services

    Hey!

I’m not sure what you’re trying to pull here but you just added a text widget??

    <a href="http://asdrugtest.com/fertility-testing/">Fertility Tests</a><br /><br />
    <a href="http://asdrugtest.com/international-products/">International Products</a><br /><br />
    <a href="http://asdrugtest.com/oem-services/">OEM Services</a><br />

    Use the Custom Menu widget.

No trickery here… that text widget was there all along. It hadn’t occurred to me that the behavior would be different for those links. I’ll move them to a custom menu. Thanks.
