This is very strange. I just recently updated the enfold theme on this site and did some swapping back and forth between several theme demos.
I go to any page that has content in the admin tool and the avia (and default editors) show no content…yet you can visually see it browsing to the page. If I change nothing and click update, I still see no admin / editable content, but the visible page to the user is still the same.
Now, first in the Avia editor, I put a smiley face in the content. Update the page…now the front end just displays the smiley on the page in question. Go back to the admin tool, edit the page. No editable content appears ?!! Swap to the default editor, put in a frowny face, update the page, browse to it…I see a frown ?!!
No matter what I do, in which ever state I’m in, I can make all the changes I want and update them successfully…but can never edit them again because once I’ve left the editor page in admin and come back, even though the site still sees that last updated content, the editable version in the admin does not.
Definitely and completely stuck

Hi!
I believe you meant 2.7.1, because the latest version is 3.2 – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Since WordPress 4.2 required unique ID’s for widget areas, when you update the theme to the latest version, your widget areas may reset.
You can refer to this post and create a testing environment and test updating the theme there firstly – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/move-from-a-local-installation-to-a-live-server/
