Hi,
I can’t seem to edit contents in the Avia Layout Builder setting without writing in html. There is no editable design view, in tabs for example.June 14, 2015 at 4:38 pm #458958Hey sevanah!
Please flush browser cache and refresh your page a few times – http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Hard_Refresh
If that does not help, please post a screenshot of the issue so we can make sure that we are on the same pageBest regards,
YigitJune 15, 2015 at 5:06 pm #459499Thank you Yigit, hard refresh makes no change.
How do I attach a screenshot from here, or shall I attach from a reply of your email please?

CliveJune 15, 2015 at 5:10 pm #459507Hey!
You can upload your screenshots on imgur.com or Dropbox public folder and post the links here. Can you please post the link to your website?
Cheers!
YigitJune 15, 2015 at 5:52 pm #459546I hope this helps. I thought there was a design view?
June 16, 2015 at 9:15 am #459902Hey!
I’m sure I understand what you mean by design view, I’m guessing you are referring to the Advanced Layout Editor which is the way to create your designs with Enfold?
Best regards,
RikardJune 16, 2015 at 9:51 am #459914June 17, 2015 at 5:05 am #460530June 19, 2015 at 1:20 pm #461847Thank you, We believe that, for example, in the content element/tabs there were 2 options on the right of the editor that had something like ‘view’ and ‘html’. The ‘view’ was like a WYSIWYG. Without this option its hard to create a working layout without knowledge of HTML.
I hope this makes sense,
thank you,

YigitJune 19, 2015 at 2:06 pm #461880Thank you, that hasn’t changed anything.

in your backend I see this warning message:
“Warning: the [rich editing] capability is disabled for this user which might lead to some potential issues. Please enable it.”I think this issue might be caused by this. Please enable rich editing and let us know when you are done and still need help.
Are we allowed to temporarily deactivate all your plugins if necessary?Best regards,
AndyJune 23, 2015 at 11:50 am #463286Thank you,
I saw visual editor disabled in my profile and enabled it. I assume this is what you mean, anyway it had no effect. You are welcome to disable for a short period the plugins,
thanks
CliveJune 24, 2015 at 10:59 am #463898Hi!
well, unfortunately it seems that some files are corrupt. That’s why please delete all theme files and get a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Make sure to have a backup.

RikardJune 26, 2015 at 1:19 pm #464938OK, I copied the enfold folder in WordPress Themes as a back up, downloaded from theme forest, deleted the folder in WordPress and uploaded the downloaded new theme. Can’t see any difference.

CliveJune 30, 2015 at 9:42 am #466238Hi!
can you please try to use a default WordPress theme? if the same is happening then you know that your WordPress installation is corrupt. Did you delete all theme (enfold) files via ftp completely before getting a fresh copy?
Best regards,
AndyJune 30, 2015 at 1:32 pm #466369Hi Andy,
First, thank you for all your efforts to fix this, I did delete the Enfold files via FTP before installing the new version. I will sort this out from here hopefully.

CliveJune 30, 2015 at 1:51 pm #466393We looking forward to hearing from you Clive :)
