    I am new to WP. I think my question is simple. How can I replace text on multiple pages in a side column? It is possible to create a post in a side column and then just update the post? Or, can I use an image with the text embedded in the image? Then I would just update the image. Thank you.

    Hey envatojlc!

    You can enable debugging mode to see shortcodes you have created in pages using Advanced Layout Builder – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
    You can switch to Default Editor and click on Magic Wand to see full list of shortcodes http://i.imgur.com/n4KXkdm.jpg
    then you can create any of them and copy/paste shortcode into any other content element or into text widget.

    If you add, for example, Blog Posts elements shortcode to your sidebar in Appearance > Widgets, when you publish a new post, it would be displayed on all pages which are using that sidebar.
