Is it possible to enable a Catalogue Mode in the Enfold theme?
I want to just showcase our products, no prices, no add to cart, no basket in the header…nothing.
Just the functionality of display the products by category and in their own simple product pages with various tabs for info. And the additional abilities of related products and featured products.June 6, 2015 at 1:07 pm #455475Hi craigriches!
Thank you for using Enfold.
You can try the Catalogue element but you will have to configure each items manually or the Magazine element if you want to display a certain post type automatically.

IsmaelJune 7, 2015 at 4:35 pm #455645I am not sure if you understand what I am asking?
I want to still use WooCommerce, but I want to remove all e-commerce functions such as prices, add to cart, and the default sorting and showing xx results dropdowns etc., but retain the structure of displaying product with the ability to have related products, featured products and so on.
I have read a few items on the forum where code is being quote to “show none” these things out, but I have no clue where to do this.
I also have seen reference by one of your moderators to Catalogue Visibility plugin by Woocommerce for extra money.
I found a good plugin recently which has worked in hiding all the above in Woocommerce http://codecanyon.net/item/aj-woocommerce-privacy-mode/7328054 but when I installed it in your theme it doesnt work! I presume because Enfold overrides the standard WooCommerce install??There must be plenty of other people in my shoes where they want to use Woocommerce but just as a catalogue. Cant you guys post a ‘how to’ for the procedure, rather than a few sporadic comments here and there which have to be scoured for throughout the forums?

Alright. You can hide specific elements of the product page using css. Give us a screenshot of the product layout that you have in mind, we’ll give you some css snippets. For further modifications, please contact the WooCommerce support or hire a freelance developer. You can find one on codeable: http://kriesi.at/contact/customization
And just so you know, you can use the magazine element or blogs posts element to showcase your products without the default product elements like add to cart, price etc. If you want to remove certain elements in the single product page view, like I said, we can use css to hide those elements.
Best regards,

Thank you for the great work anyway. Enfold is the most easy and beautiful theme one can use.
