I’m using the Responsive Full Width Background Slider plugin to add a fullscreen background slider to the page. Is there a way to use the boxed layout or even the fullwidth stretched layout and have all of the header/body/footer content areas be transparent to show the background slider? I’ve tried the code from a number of other posts and nothing seems to work.
Thanks
June 4, 2015 at 11:59 pm #454813Looks like this code worked as long as I also typed transparent into the color fields in the general styling options.
#main, .html_stretched #wrap_all {
background-color: transparent !important;
}
now to figure out why the content is under the header…June 5, 2015 at 9:07 am #454999June 22, 2015 at 7:31 am #462459June 22, 2015 at 12:55 pm #462695Hey!
So the only thing missing is to fix the footer background? Please use this:
#footer, #socket { z-index: 80; }

It looks like you forgot to include the link. You can set your reply as private if you wish.
Also, a screenshot highlighting the exact changes your trying to do would be great.

June 25, 2015 at 9:10 am #464452Hi!
I just noticed that you’re using a background slider which is a bit too heavy for the page. The footer is black because the background image is still loading. Please remove browser cache then check it now: http://www.crestedbuttecomputers.com/dev/skyhigh/

June 26, 2015 at 8:10 am #464784So this is what it looks like now – cache has been cleared. Hard Refresh.

In what browser are you getting this error? This is what I’m seeing on my end using latest version of Chrome: http://imgur.com/4FWzGo3
