Hello,
i have a problem with the Alternate Background color for the Alternate Content Area.
I use white for the Alternate Background and in the main styling i see that it works. But it doesn´t work on the side, where i use the Alternate Content. This problem only exist with the Alternate Content. The Main Content works.
It seems like there is a bug!?Thanks for helping.
Kind regards,
DanielaJune 4, 2015 at 6:47 pm #454690Hi Daniela!
You have it set to #fafafb and that is what I’m seeing when I view your site. Do you mean your wanting to change the iconbox backgrounds when they are inside the alternate content sections? If so then add this to your custom CSS.
.alternate_color .iconbox_content { background: white none repeat scroll 0 0 !important; }

ElliottJune 4, 2015 at 6:54 pm #454696Hey,
yeas, thats what i mean. And i thought, when i put the alternate background color to #ffffff – as i did – it should be white.
When i tried it in the Main content area it works!So what is the problem here?
Thanks,

I checked the first section and the styling reflects the alternate content settings. Alternate content background color is set to #fafafb.
.alternate_color, .alternate_color .site-background, .alternate_color .first-quote, .alternate_color .related_image_wrap, .alternate_color .gravatar img .alternate_color .hr_content, .alternate_color .news-thumb, .alternate_color .post-format-icon, .alternate_color .ajax_controlls a, .alternate_color .tweet-text.avatar_no, .alternate_color .toggler, .alternate_color .toggler.activeTitle:hover, .alternate_color #js_sort_items, .alternate_color.inner-entry, .alternate_color .grid-entry-title, .alternate_color .related-format-icon, .grid-entry .alternate_color .avia-arrow, .alternate_color .avia-gallery-big, .alternate_color .avia-gallery-big, .alternate_color .avia-gallery img, .alternate_color .grid-content, .alternate_color .av-share-box ul, #top .alternate_color .av-related-style-full .related-format-icon, .alternate_color .related_posts.av-related-style-full a:hover, .alternate_color.avia-fullwidth-portfolio .pagination .current, .alternate_color.avia-fullwidth-portfolio .pagination a, .alternate_color .av-hotspot-fallback-tooltip-inner, .alternate_color .av-hotspot-fallback-tooltip-count { background-color: #fafafb; color: #666666; }
Try to change the color settings to something bright like yellow, violet etc. to see which elements are affected by the current settings.
Best regards,
IsmaelJune 5, 2015 at 9:44 am #455015Hey,
the Alternate Background color for the Main Content ist set to #fafafb – thats true. When i change the color to blue, the icon box in the Main Content AND in the Alternate content change to blue.
But thats not how it use to be. When i change the Alternate Background color for the Alternate content to blue nothing happens in the Alternate section on the main side. But i can see a change in the settings at the top.
so i think, there is something wrong.Best regards

The Enfold > General Styling > Alternate Content > Alternate Content background color option is working. I set it to blue and you can see the result here: http://web.susanneklimesch.de/test/
Cheers!
IsmaelJune 8, 2015 at 10:43 am #455931Yes that works. But i mean the background content for the icon box (Management Diagnostik, Management Coaching) inside the alternate content!
Cheers Daniela

You’ll need to style that manually. See here, https://kriesi.at/support/topic/color-problems-with-alternate-content-area/#post-454690.
