    Enfold Installation doesn’t work

    Two days ago I bought the Enfold Theme at Themeforest.
    My WordPress is quite new, actual version, works without problems.
    I wanted to upload the Enfold Theme:
    The Theme is downloaded on my PC, the .zip-file I have unpacked. After that I unpacked also the inside enfold.zip – until right now all works as told in the video tutorial. But in my Theme there are two files in the enfold.zip: „enfold“ and „__MACOSX“.

    I uploaded only the „enfold“-file via FTP in the wp-Themes-file.
    The „__MACOSX“-file I didn’t upload.

    Uploading was without problems, the enfold-theme-file is visibile where all the other theme-folders are.
    In the Dashboard “Enfold” is also visible together with the other themes.
    But: when I click on “Live-Preview”, the browser shows nothing. Nothing at all. It’s total empty.

    When I activate the Enfold-Theme, it’s the same: the browser shows nothing. Nothing at all. It’s absolutely empty. And all the WordPress-Installation is frozen, doesn’t word any more. I had to delete the Enfold-Theme via FTP to get a new start.

    I tried all that one more time (upload via FTP and so on) – same result.

    Whats wrong and what can I do??

    Hey Tanguera108!

    If you have referred to this video – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/install-enfold-theme-with-ftp/ and could not install the theme, please post FTP access here as well as temporary WordPress admin logins so we can try to install it for you. Please upload enfold.zip file somewhere on your server and tell us where.

    Hey Yigit,
    thanks for answering! The problem is solved, I don’t need any more support (for this moment). Hope I can go on now without help!

    Why does it works now?
    For different reasons I set up a new domain (had to change the old domain-name), installed there on the new webspace the WordPress and tried to upload the “enfold” thema at once – before I added all the (perhaps useful) plugins etc. And it worked without problems! As I can see right now. Hope this good status will continue!
